This is my first and only entry for the 'MAMA Scared Stiff' contest. I wasn't planing to participate in this event but two days ago I decided to give it a try just for fun. And because I love Guillermo del Toro's work
For some reason it looks a bit colourless and darker here than the original image and on my Photoshop. Ohwell~
It was a bit difficult for me to think of something that scares me since I honestly don't fear anything. But then I remembered when I was a child I was afraid of a Victorian styled porcelain doll an aunt gave to me. The doll wore a beautiful green dress and a large matching hat, had long, wavy caramel-coloured hair, pale skin, rosy cheeks, delicate red lips and piercing blue eyes. Even though I thought it was a pretty doll, I was afraid of it since I always felt like it was staring at me with her marble eyes. When alone in the room I had to cover her face with her hat and turn her around facing the wall for me to feel comfortable alone in my own room. One day after coming home from school I didn't noticed she wasn't ontop of the bookshelf if not under my bed. I lay on the floor to read a book, notice something under the bed and there she was staring back at me. I ran out of my room XD
Turned out my little sister was playing with it and left it there. My mother ended up throwing her away since she hated it.
BUT SHE REMINDS ME OF A DOLL AND THEY ARE MY NUMBER ONE FEAR DHFHSGGSHHDVS
Aunque, aquí se ve un poco sin color en comparación con la imagen original y en mi Photoshop O.o
En fín ~
